We came down for the weekend to watch the Olympic Mountain biking at Hadleigh. The sun shone, the cottage was lovely, and we were made to feel very welcome. Unfortunately no medals for team GB, but other wise a perfect weekend! Thank you so much! The Sheffield Bikers.

Despite being a local that needed to escape the house for the weekend, we felt like we were on holiday. Planned to visit our favourite places but enjoyed the grounds and feeling of the place so much have spent our long weekend settled in the lodge and playing in the grounds. Thanks for a lovely stay and will definately recommend to others!. V, W, H and R-M

This spacious and well-appointed cottage has been quite a 'find'. We felt most welcome and 'at home' with the small touches we found when we arrived and you have thought of just about everything when equipping the Cart Lodge. We would certainly recommend this place to family and friends. E, A, M and M

This is one of the best equipped holiday houses we have ever stayed in, down to bedside tables and bedside lights to ipod players and clothes dryer etc. The lodge has been beautifully decorated and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. Next time we are back over in the UK we will definitely be booking. J, M and boys
